Monmouth signs King Rice to 5-year extension through 2021

Given the season the Monmouth University basketball team has had, school officials are making a big play to see to it that King Rice is part of its future. Friday afternoon, hours before the Hawks looked to secure the MAAC regular-season title against Rider, Monmouth announced a 5-year contract extension for Rice through the 2020-21 season.
