Virginia held on for a 72-68 win over North Carolina Thursday evening at John Paul Jones Arena, marking just the Cavaliers second win over the Tar Heels in the last 21 meetings between the two programs. Destinee Walker scored a team-leading 18 points to pace North Carolina (14-16, 4-11 Atlantic Coast Conference).
