This day, the team with heart won a game that will be long remembered by the Wolfpack faithful, an 83-79 victory Saturday over the third-ranked Tar Heels that left the RBC Center floor flooded with red when the final buzzer sounded and had the State players high-fiving such past Pack heroes as David Thompson, Tom Burleson and Chris Corchiani as they made their way off the court.
