Riverside's Weslye Saunders to commit to South Carolina

Durham Riverside football standout Weslye Saunders will commit to the University of South Carolina tonight during the team banquet. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound tight end and defensive end helped the Pirates reach the N.C. 4-AA state championship game and is regarded as one of the top 20 tight end prospects in the country. Saunders had narrowed his college choices to either the University of North Carolina or South Carolina.
