Recruits finally get to sign with their schools

Butch Davis and Tom O'Brien take the first official step toward bringing in new players today, when recruits can sign binding national letters of intent. Davis, who took over UNC's program after John Bunting was fired seven games into last season, figures to sign a recruiting class with some offensive firepower. The Tar Heels have gained five commitments from SuperPrep All-Americans, and four of them are on offense.
