Mentally Ill Homeless Man Killed In Accident Was Former UNC Football Player Ryan Hoffman

For many the story of a homeless man being hit and killed is all too quickly forgotten. Most of these people unfortunately have alienated themselves from others and frankly not many people know them and many have little or no family. The recent death of a homeless man in Haines City on November 16th isn’t one such case. This one centers around a former college football star with the North Carolina Tar Heels, who suffered from mental illness, named Ryan Hoffman. (The Daily Ridge)
