Nothing falls for UNC in loss


Sylvia Hatchell often likes to joke about the Rim Monster, a mythical creature that keeps shots by North Carolina's opponents out of the basket at Carmichael Auditorium. The Tar Heels weren't laughing Thursday night. No. 2 UNC shot just 27.3 percent from the field in its 64-53 loss to No. 1 Duke, and the percentage was that high only because senior forward Camille Little knocked down 8 of 13 shots.
