Reunion Saturday: They had no set plays. No fear. No small amount of luck. No future NBA stars. And no idea that, 50 years later, they would still be remembered so fondly. The 1957 North Carolina men's basketball team went 32-0 on its way to the NCAA championship. It won the title with a breathtaking 54-53 victory against Kansas and Wilt Chamberlain in triple overtime.
