Superb: '82 team had fantastic players


James Worthy played two of the best games of his distinguished North Carolina career, leading his team to the NCAA championship and being named the title game's outstanding player. It gave Coach Dean Smith his first national title after 21 years as the Tar Heels' coach. The 1982 team will be honored in Chapel Hill today in the building named after Smith. The team will celebrate its 25th anniversary. (Winston-Salem Journal)
