Buzzer Beaten: Hokies slip by Heels again


Time after time, North Carolina seemed one stop or one score away from putting away the game. Each time, Virginia Tech had the answer. In the end, the Hokies hung around just long enough to win. Virginia Tech defeated No. 4 UNC 81-80 in overtime in men's basketball Tuesday night, sweeping the season series from the Tar Heels in its first trip to the Smith Center. (Durham Herald-Sun)
