Fifth Quarter: Cooler hot seats and defenseless defenses

Quick strike Heels: After spotting Wake Forest an early 7-0 lead Saturday, UNC wasted little time roaring from behind. It took only 11 plays and a combined 2:49 of elapsed time for the Tar Heels to score TDs on their next three drives. Six of UNC’s seven TD drives lasted two minutes or fewer with four of them completed in a minute or less on the way to a 50-14 demolition of the Deacons.
