Virginia Tech CB Kendall Fuller out for the season following knee surgery

Virginia Tech cornerback Kendall Fuller will miss the rest of the season after having surgery Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, according to Tech’s athletic department. Fuller, a junior, suffered the injury in August during preseason practices. Prior to the injury, he was considered by many NFL draft analysts to be a potential first-round selection in next year’s draft.
