Carter Jenkins Sets UNC 18-Hole Record As Tar Heels Win At Primland


Junior Carter Jenkins set the all-time UNC 18-holes record with a second round 9-under par 63 and the UNC men’s golf team shot 9-under 279 for the second consecutive round to win the weather-shortened Primland Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday. The event was played at the Highland Course, a par-72, 7,053-yard layout. The Tar Heels won by five strokes over Auburn and 11 strokes over host Wake Forest. (GoHeels.com)
