Smith’s return to Lawrence results in a colorful reaction
Posted Feb 20, 2007
Dean Smith said he didn’t even think about the color of the sportcoat he wore Saturday. Smith, a Kansas graduate, was back at Allen Fieldhouse for the first time since Roy Williams left Kansas to steer Smith’s North Carolina program in 2003. Attending his 1952 national championship team’s 55-year reunion in Lawrence, Smith wore a Carolina Blue blazer.
