More than 4.4 million meals are served every year to UNC’s 18,350 undergraduate students, and menu development is a collaborative process that involves the school’s executive chef, residential chefs, general manager, food service directors, marketing team, and in-house registered dietitian. Nearly 30 percent of all food served comes from within 250 miles of campus. (MSN.com)
