UNC offers 2017 power forward Wendell Carter

Wendell Carter Jr – like Jalek Felton – is an exception in the class of 2017. Carter, a 6-10, 250-pound center from the Pace Academy in Atlanta, picked up a scholarship offer from Roy Williams and the Tar Heels on Tuesday night. He’s the No. 2 overall player in his class and the second, along with Felton, to receive an UNC offer. “They did offer him,” Wendell Carter Sr. confirmed.
