During the preseason, hypotheticals centered on how the 2006-07 North Carolina men's basketball team would fare against UNC's NCAA championship team of 2004-05. Some four months later, that scenario has been replaced with a question that seemed ridiculous in November: How would this year's Tar Heels fare against last year's UNC team, which lost its top seven scorers from the season before?
