Maryland-North Carolina considered marquee matchup of ACC-Big Ten Challenge

The Dec. 1 matchup between Maryland and North Carolina in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge will tip-off at 9:30 p.m., ESPN announced Tuesday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN’s main channel. The Terps and Tar Heels are expected to be among those under consideration for the No. 1 ranking. Last week, ESPN chose Maryland No. 1 and North Carolina No. 2 in its No-Longer-Way-Too-Early Top 25.
