Dustin Ackley (North Forsyth '06) had a blazing start to his baseball career at North Carolina, hitting safely in the first six games, with eight of his first 11 hits going for doubles. He started the opener for the Tar Heels - currently ranked No. 1 by Baseball America - in right field and went 2 for 4 with two doubles, a walk, two runs and two RBIs in an 11-0 win over Seton Hall.
