Marine veteran brings commitment to Carolina

Zach Johnson has never been one to shy away from a challenge. He’s always been searching for a next one. After high school, he tested himself against the rigorous demands of the Marine Corps. Then, before his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, he set out to train one of the angriest dogs at the handler’s school. Now, three years removed from the Marines, Johnson is ready for his next challenge: UNC.
