UNC Sports Year in Review: No. 5-6
Posted Jul 29, 2015
Sweet Redemption: The Tar Heels were more competitive in this year’s NCAA Tournament than they had been since 2012. UNC advanced through the Jacksonville pod by escaping Harvard then beating No. 5 seed Arkansas in the Round of 32. The Tar Heels then traveled to Los Angeles for the Sweet 16, where they had eventual national runner-up Wisconsin on the ropes before taking a 79-72 loss.
