By the numbers: Tackling UNC's defensive problems

It's not breaking news to say that North Carolina's defense was bad last season, and at this week's ACC Kickoff, linebacker Jeff Schoettmer offered plenty of details on why the unit struggled. But one, in particular, stuck out. "Tackling," he said. "I think we'll tackle a lot better." North Carolina was bad in a lot of areas, but there's no question this was at the top of the list.
