Stephanie Watts committed to UNC, East-West All-Star Game

Stephanie Watts could have walked away from her commitment to play at UNC when the Tar Heels’ program went through the turmoil of coach Sylvia Hatchell’s health issues, the departure of assistant coaches, an NCAA probe into academic fraud and the loss of the entire four-player 2013 recruiting class to transfers. But she stayed firm and is already enrolled in summer classes in Chapel Hill.
