Tar Heels football alum aims to set course toward medical school

Arien Smith saw plenty during his time with the UNC football team. He entered the program as a walk-on and left after the 2014 season, deciding to forego a final year of eligibility so he could pursue bigger things. He has graduated from the University and looks forward to transitioning into the medical field. "I wanted to get myself in the best position to get into medical school and to be a doctor."
