Roy Williams offers Finnish big man Lauri Markkanen

North Carolina has offered 2016 power forward Lauri Markkanen from Finland, Scout.com reports. Per Scout's Evan Daniels, UNC head coach Roy Williams offered the 6-foot-10, 214-pound prospect over the phone. Markkanen is down to three schools: North Carolina, Utah, and Arizona. He plans to visit all three in October before making a November decision. Williams plans to make an in-home visit to see Markkanen in September.
