Hawaii basketball finalizes game to host North Carolina in 2016

The Hawaii basketball team will host perennial powerhouse North Carolina at the Stan Sheriff Center on Nov. 16, 2016, in a prelude to UNC's participation in the Maui Invitational. UH is 0-4 all-time against the Tar Heels, including 0-3 at home. The last meeting came on Dec. 22, 1994, an 88-76 loss to top-ranked UNC in the opening season of the Sheriff Center.
