Two UNC baseball signees taken in first two rounds of MLB draft
Posted Jun 9, 2015
North Carolina figures to lose two of its top baseball signees for next season after outfielders Desmond Lindsay and Jahmai Jones were selected in the second round of the Major League Baseball draft Monday night. By contrast, though, coach Mike Fox’s 2015 recruiting class came out of the draft’s opening day in much better shape than it did a year ago, when 10 of the 17 players committed to the Tar Heels were picked in the first two rounds and never made it to Chapel Hill.
