Big payout for Carolinas Battle

South Carolina and North Carolina both will receive $3.2 million for opening the season against one another on Sept. 3 in the Belk College Kickoff at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Gamecocks Athletics Director Ray Tanner confirmed the numbers during a University of South Carolina Board of Trustees meeting Thursday.
