National perspective on UNC allegations focuses on basketball

The NCAA allegations were wide in scope, but offered little in specifics when it came to individual players from individual sports. Given how consistent the governing body is in their inconsistency, this only makes it more difficult to predict possible punishment based on precedent for the Tar Heels. Regardless, national pundits who have covered previous NCAA scandals did their best to interpret the 59 pages of allegations and supplemental documents.
