Drought: Tar Heels haven't fared well

Jubilant UNC players cut down one net in the Smith Center on Sunday to celebrate their share of the ACC regular-season title but left the other net hanging because of Virginia, the other team that tied for first. The Tar Heels' objective in this weekend's ACC Tournament is clear: Get both nets at the St. Pete Times Forum and come home from Tampa, Fla., with the championship and automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
