In the NFL, the drop off can come quickly. Last year's playmaker can become this year's washed-up former star. The Green Bay Packers liked what Julius Peppers did last season at age 34, and they're banking on him being just as productive -- if not more so -- at age 35. It's why they brought him back for a second season despite an $8.5 million salary and another $1 million in bonuses.
