Tar Heels win, cross fingers for NCAA berth
Posted May 23, 2015
Though the Tar Heels’ win against the Tigers doesn’t guarantee an at-large berth, it certainly helps the team’s case. UNC won’t know what’s in store for the rest of the postseason until Monday’s NCAA selection show, but regardless of its fate, junior Landon Lassiter won’t be playing the regional round. Lassiter was indefinitely suspended before Friday’s game for conduct detrimental to the team.
