UNC looked like the league’s No. 1 seed during the quarterfinal round of the 2007 ACC Tournament on Friday. The Tar Heels wielded their transition game, boosted by a solid defensive effort, as they blew past nine-seed Florida State, 73-58. UNC forced 17 turnovers and shot 61 percent from the floor in the second half in advancing to face No. 4-seeded Boston College in the semifinals Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
