Larry Fedora explains why Gene Chizik was his No. 1 choice

When Larry Fedora decided to make a change on UNC’s defense, Gene Chizik was the first name he went after, despite Chizik being out of coaching for two years, and Fedora believes Chizik will take the Tar Heels to the next level. “I didn’t have to sell a whole lot,” Fedora told SiriusXM College Sports Nation. “Gene and I had a relationship. We’d competed against each other for quite a few years."
