UNC grads told to take risks without fear of failure


The sun came out in time for the turning of the tassels. Students clad in Carolina blue gowns — and, in some cases, rain ponchos — sat through moments of light rain as they listened to messages of congratulations and inspiration during a ceremony Sunday morning that saw 3,769 undergraduates, 1,419 master’s students, 648 professional students and 217 doctoral students awarded degrees.
