Broadcaster Bill Roth and his Virginia Tech fans a mutual appreciation society

Virginia Tech fans are going to miss listening to Bill Roth on the radio. He’s going to miss them as well. Saturday’s spring football game marked Roth’s final day as the voice of the Hokies. Roth, who has been the radio play-by-play announcer for Tech football and men’s basketball since 1988, was named Wednesday as the new radio voice of UCLA.
