UNC regains ACC title, ends Pack's run

On back-to-back Sundays, members of the UNC basketball team grabbed scissors and dismantled some basketball nets. This time, the Heels were celebrating after wearing down N.C. State 89-80 in the 2007 ACC Tournament championship game. The victory gave the Heels their first ACC title since 1998. That ended the longest gap between ACC championships for UNC since a drought from 1957 to 1967. (Raleigh News & Observer)
