UNC football adds argyle to new uniforms

The unmistakable argyle pattern that has been a fixture on the University of North Carolina’s basketball uniforms for more than two decades will be making its way to Kenan Stadium as a feature on the Tar Heels new football uniforms that were unveiled Monday. The school, along with apparel partner Nike, showed off the new designs that feature an argyle stripe atop the crown of their helmets, on the collar of the jerseys and along the side of the pant leg.
