Tar Heels gain experience of winning a championship

North Carolina didn't win the national title Sunday afternoon. But if the Tar Heels end up holding the trophy in Atlanta next month as the champions of men's college basketball, they'll be able to point toward their ACC Tournament triumph as a springboard. Before last weekend, the Tar Heels (28-6) believed they could succeed in a tournament. But they didn't know it. (Durham Herald-Sun)
