UNC grad assistant football coach charged with DWI

Gerald McGrath, a graduate assistant football coach on Larry Fedora's staff at UNC, was arrested early Monday after police found him asleep at the wheel of his running car. McGrath, 28, was charged with driving while impaired, paid a $1,500 bond and was released. McGrath, who played for Fedora in college while at the University of Southern Mississippi, joined the Tar Heel staff in 2015.
