Heels More Than Enough
Posted Mar 16, 2007
Rarely does anything come easy in the NCAA Tournament, and top-seeded UNC needed to survive a few bumps before racing past 16-seed Eastern Kentucky. Dominant at the start and finish, the Tar Heels overcame an impressive mid-game run by the Colonels before cruising to an 86-65 first-round win. UNC moves on to Saturday’s night second-round to face nine-seed Michigan State – 61-49 winners over eight-seed Marquette.
