The Tar Heels bolted to a 39-12 lead before No. 16 seed Eastern Kentucky could get its nerves completely under control. Once the Colonels got it going, the scare was on in full force. Four minutes into the second half, Carolina's lead was down to 48-44 and the mood on the Tar Heels bench conjured up of another George Mason experience.
