Brandon Ingram leads Kinston to 4th straight state title


had 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead Kinston past East Lincoln 60-43 in the Class 2-A North Carolina High School Athletics Association men's championship game Saturday. Ingram was the game's most valuable player and was 10 for 22 while helping the Vikings (26-4) win their fourth state championship. Darnell Dunn added 12 points for Kinston, which shot 42 percent and held the Mustangs to 30 percent shooting to earn its 11th state championship. (Winston-Salem Journal)
