Bob Knight's infamous chair toss, 30 years later

Indiana would go on to lose the game to Purdue that day, 72-63. It was one of 14 defeats the Hoosiers would eat that season. But no one, of course, recalls the score or the game’s impact on the Big Ten standings—the conference being both “big” and “ten” back then. The Indiana-Purdue game, held on Feb. 23, 1985, 30 years ago to the day, is recalled for that damn chair and the man who turned it into a projectile. (Sports Illustrated)
