Carolina Runs Away from USC

Saturday, March 24, 2007

It was one of the most memorable March moments. Michael Jordan hit a jumper with 17 seconds left and Georgetown's Fred Brown threw the ball to North Carolina's James Worthy in a gaffe that maybe only Chris Webber could understand, and Dean Smith captured his first national championship with a victory they won't ever forget in Chapel Hill. Now, 25 years later, UNC and Georgetown get to do it again. (New York Post)
