Heels run softball win streak to 24

The North Carolina softball team swept a doubleheader from Boston College -- 9-4 and 1-0 -- Saturday in Chapel Hill to extend its school-record winning streak to 24 games. In the first game, the Eagles (1-10, 0-2) held a 4-1 lead before UNC (31-8, 5-0) scored eight runs in the bottom of the sixth inning on six hits and two key BC errors. Lisa Norris starred for UNC in the second game, allowing five hits in seven innings for the shutout.
