North Carolina’s players had planned to be licking their chops right about now, the response elicited from the sweet taste of a postseason victory. The Tar Heels instead are all puckered up. “We’ve got a bad taste in our mouths,” UNC coach Larry Fedora said after Rutgers beat the Heels 40-21 in the inaugural Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field on Friday.
