Blessing and curse of Seventh Woods' early rise to fame

Two years ago when Hammond (Columbia, S.C.) point guard Seventh Woods’ highlight video proclaiming him to be the country’s top 14-year-old hooper hit the Internet, it set off what Woods agrees was a gift and a curse. Yes, his exposure went through the roof, but the downside was that, well, his exposure went through the roof. “It’s to a point where, if I don’t do a Sportscenter Top 10 play, people feel like I let them down. It’s not even about that stuff; I’m just trying to get better every time I play. People get a little crazy with it.”
