Pitt’s Conner presents familiar, but different challenge for UNC defense

Pittsburgh sophomore running back James Conner is averaging better than six yards per carry and has scored 17 rushing touchdowns while ranking third nationally with 1,342 yards. Those numbers only figure to rise against an UNC defense that ranks dead last in the ACC and allows an average of 219.7 yards per game. “You’re going to have to get multiple hats to him to get him down,” Fedora said.
