A strong role model

Waddell made the most of his athletic talents and used them to help get his education at UNC-Chapel Hill, one of the best schools in the country. He has been a symbol of what hard work and good choices can do for one’s success in life. He is a role model not only for the youngsters who will play in the league he helped create, but for older kids as well. Waddell is someone our current junior high students and Richmond Raiders can emulate in their own lives. (Richmond County Daily Journal)
